
The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) is hosting a public meeting in Hope this Thursday as a part of updating its Long Range Intermodal Transportation Plan (LRITP).
The LRITP contains the goals, objectives, policies, investment strategies and performance measures that will guide the state’s future transportation investments. It will examine all the pieces of the state’s transportation system, including highways, bridges, public transportation, rail, bicycle and pedestrian, ports and waterways, and aviation.
The Hope meeting will follow an open house format from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Rotunda of Hempstead Hall.
