The Hope Lions Club heard a great program on the first day of May about the upcoming Cinco De Mayo program set for Saturday May 6th at the President Williams Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site. The program begins at 10am Saturday with dancers from Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. At 10:30am "Words by Manataka" will be presented by the American Indian Council. At 11am the program features "Ballet Folklorico Tacambaro Michoacan". There will be a flag ceremony, the national anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance, and prayer sat noon. From 2:15 to 4:30pm there will be a variety of entertainment including "La Huastequita", "El Charro De Mexico", Juan Ramirez, Daniel Torres, clowns, and more. The public is invited to the free program. Making the presentation to Lions were Porfirio Gutierrez, Christian Davis, and Lion Eddie Garcia.
