Several local teams took part in the recent Arkansas National Archery in the Schools regional tournament, held at Delight. Around one hundred teams from around the state have advanced to the archery state championship, scheduled to take place April 1st and 2nd in Hot Springs.
Elementary results from the regional archery tournament included: first place South Pike County School, second place Kirby Elementary, third place Blevins Elementary, fourth place Bradley Elementary, and fifth place Umpire.
Middle School results included first place South Pike County, second place Blevins Middle School, third place DeQueen Cubs, fourth place Kirby, and fifth place Umpire.
High School archery results included first place Genoa Central, second place DeQueen, third place South Pike County, and fourth place Blevins.
