It was a memorable week at Making Rainbows of Rainbow of Challenges in Hope during Arkansas Children's Week. On Monday, the kids learned what a dentist does and enjoyed a healthy snack of apples and bananas. On Tuesday, the children were treated to a visit by Veterinarian, Damian Strodard and his furry friend, plus a surprise with Doc McStuffins dropping in to say hello. On Wednesday, the kids became a chef and made their own pizzas while Thursday featured the children planting a flower garden while learning what it is like to be a farmer. On Friday, the week was capped with an early visit by the Hope High School cheerleaders and later by the annual "Block Party" where the children were joined by many of their parents while playing outside in bounce houses, enjoying carnival games and food treats.
