The Hempstead County FSA office says enrollment for the 2012 Direct and Counter-Cyclical Program (DCP) and the Average Crop Revenue Election Program (ACRE).is now underway. Sign up continues through June 1st. For information call your local FSA office or visit www.fsa.usda.gov/ar.

The Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting Tuesday February 7th for Dos Loco Gringos at North Hervey and I-30. The ribbon-cutting is set for 10:30am and the public is invited.
The Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee on Wednesday February 8th will be hosted by Temple-Inland. The Coffee is set for 9:30am until 11am at the Chamber office.
The Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting Thursday February 9th for the new shotgun range at the Rick Evans Grandview Prairie Conservation Education Center. The ribbon-cutting is set for 2pm and the public is invited.
The Medical Park Hospital Auxiliary will hold a rummage sale Friday February 10th from 8am until 4pm and Saturday February 11th from 8am until 1pm. The rummage sale will be held at the Fair Park Community Center and proceeds raised will go towards scholarships for those pursuing a career in the medical field.

Southwest Arkansas Christian School is now offering a Mother's Day Out program on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The program is for potty-trained children 30 months - 5 years old. The program may be used on a per day basis, or as often as needed. Southwest Arkansas Christian School is a licensed preschool with a trained preschool teacher. SWACS uses the "Handwriting Without Tears- Get Set For School" curriculum.
