Hempstead County Judge Haskell Morse signed a proclamation observing National Drug Court month. J.P. Billy Rook read the proclamation. Teresa Pribilski spoke to the J.P.'s about Drug Court.
Judge Haskell Morse reminded everyone about the Memorial Day Service Monday May 30th at 10am on the Courthouse lawn. He also gave an update on front-load trash trucks. He noted a new one would cost about $228,000. The J.P.'s voted to allow the Judge to get bids and pursue the purchase of a new truck. The J.P.'s also discussed whether or not to charge the Blevins and Spring Hill schools for dumpsters. It was agreed to see if the city of Hope charges the Hope Schools for dumpsters.
J.P. Ronnie Kidd told the Quorum Court about a game and fish Commission meeting about Chronic Wasting Disease. A proposed personnel manual was distributed to the J.P.'s for future consideration. The meeting then adjourned.
